For my loving daughter in-law.

Imagine no clean water. Imagine no washing machine and dryer. Imagine bars as your view point. Imagine never being touched. Imagine the lack of comfort, kindness, compassion, and the feeling of belonging.

Try to live one day without your favorite gadget, television, cell phone, and even the lap top I am using right now.

Now..... THINK of a PUPPY MILL. Does it make you sad? Would you ever think a child could be treated the same way as a puppy in that mill?

Close your eyes and see a infant that can't grow because he only has a crib to be in. No one picking him up. No one reaching for him. His view is only the bars he can look through. His crib is his cage. His crib becomes his shelter, safety, and finally a life link that leads to him shaking in fear if someone now reaches for him.

Pretty deary of me to write these words. How dare I bring this sadness to my readers.

I am sorry that the words I am typing have so many truths in them. I have found such joy in donating, knitting for charity and now I am reaching out to those I can not see. I can not touch. I can not hold and say " it is going to be ok".

My daughter in-law has passion for life. Has passion for Gods children and she brought this cause to my attention! I am proud of her ability to reach beyond her arms length to others. She is truly one of those people that is pure at heart.

Maes Creations, will be participating in a online auction for a lil' luv that lives a life exactly like the one I mentioned. But I left out some details. The details of how he doesn't speak. He doesn't sit correctly, walk, laugh, or express as a child should. This is pretty basic stuff right??

Thank goodness a loving family heard his story and lovingly began the process of adopting him. His name is Tommy. Read his story written by his new mom. http://itstommystime.blogspot.com/p/meet-tommy.html
Another wonderful blog is http://theblessingofverity.com/. Please check often for updates on other children like Tommie. Grab a box of tissues, a cup of coffee, and your favorite blankie. Curl up and read their stories. Your heart will grow with each post you read!

ALL details for the online auction to bring Tommy home can be found at http://itstommystime.blogspot.com/p/auction-rules-faq.html.

I am donating one set each for a newborn boy and a newborn girl. They sets have one hand embellished onesie and one knit hat.
The onesies are from American apparel size 3 mos. The girls, has recycled orgainc cotton t shirts for the flowers with pink washable buttons. The Hat is knit from 100% organic cotton. Both items are machine washable on cold. For best results wash inside out. Hat should be dried flat or on low heat. The boys set is American apparel onesie and hat! Hand embellished with a brown bear with button. Hat has a tie top and is hand embellished with a paw print.

Thank you to all my readers for reading this post; that holds so much of my heart.
