The splender of sharing a moment

I can no longer walk into a yarn shop and think of anything else but awe at the idea's spinning in my head. A cow hat per chance or maybe a delicious elf hat...... The yarn now tells me what it wants to be. I feel the texture and spy the array of colors and I am lost in my own world. Then that moment comes when a momma sends me a photo of her little one.... Oh the joy that fills me up! These moments are enough for me to know knitting will be with me for a long time.

Lori Alley of https://www.facebook.com/AlleywayPhoto has shared with me a few tender thoughts of why she chose newborn photography. Her creations and photos express the care detail she puts into her time with wee little ones;

"Working with newborns provides its own special magic and is close to my heart. With three children of my own, I know how quickly the first few years fly by and how you can forget just how tiny your baby was and how much in awe of them you were. All the sleepless nights, endless diapers and one milestone after another push one day into the next and we forget. Having the portraits from the first two weeks of your baby's life is irreplaceable. The ones that I have of my children at that time in our lives are very precious to me and I love that I have the opportunity to share that gift with other new mamas. I get to record the wonder, the joy and the precious, tiny little life so that the moment can be remembered. It is such a privilege and a joy to be chosen as their baby's photographer."

While browsing her photo gallery I had a hard time choosing these three photo's! Her ability to capture the smallest detail, the roll and wrinkles of newborns to the facial expressions that blossom with their tiniest personalities. However a blog must be written and I need to stop awing over all those precious photographs!
