I am a girl who grew up in the city and since the age of 16 have been crazy for all things organic, naturally made and or recycled. From the makeup I use to the essence oils I use for perfumes to the twist and turns of mixing oils to make just the right blend. Quite a few people have poo pooed my likening for all things God made and not Man made. I am forty years old strong and look young. I am not bragging it is true. It is genetic to a certain degree and the rest is what I use and what I put into my body.
Our bodies are not meant to digest things unnatural. Our skin can not breath properly if we clog it with creams that make us buy other creams to combat the problem!
A little over a year ago I was introduced to a fabulous company called SCENTSY! Yep, no more sandalwood, no more jasmine, and or cedar wood oils. But sadly I could not no matter how much I tried I couldn't replace the beautiful smells I missed so much that came straight from the plant itself. And then.......... BOOM! Scentsy came out with scent trends, pink pepper. It is made to mix scents with. Yes of course scentsy would like us to use their scents to mix and blend it with.
And I tried. Boy did I try. Nothing could compare. The good thing is there is no market for diffusers or burners that do not burn natural oils to a ashy smell;( Scentsy has the best in the market. Their ceramic burners with their light
bulbs do not burn the oils. And a few of their scents blend amazingly! I have tried the Sweet Pea with
Jasmine. LOVE IT! The Pink Pepper with Jasmine and or sandlewood is a terrific blend. Also With adding a few drops of my fav. oils my scentsy squares last even longer. I must stress that I am not
replacing scentsy oh no! I need the base to make it work so well. I need the burners to make the aroma
right and Scentsy lightbulbs work the best. Nothing on the market can even compare to their quality.
So, if you ever thought I don't buy scentsy because its too fruity or too much like a bakery think
again, think outside of the box. With a little imagination your home can smell like the spa of your
dream vacations. I just love it when our creative juices start flowing and our imaginations take over and create new exciting things! Mandy is such a good consultant, and I hope this little tidbit gets passed around the coffee cups with us chatty girls. My next scents I want to try blending is the vanilla lavender with rosewood oil sound delightfully calming doesn't it?
