Have you ever grown into your own self? This past season I feel that is exactly what has happened with myself. I have grown to except who, what, and why I love what I do.
I see fiber and my mind races with idea's. My family think I am batty at times because I can lose all track of time and space when creating.
I have also grown into my idea's of where and what I want my name to represent. The out doors is as much apart of me as I am of it. This has led to a name change! Maes Creations Purls 2Knit is now Blue Birds Shop.www.bluebirdsshop.bigcartel.com
a re-branding for my face book page has been submitted and hopefully you will see a new look there as well!
With Autumn facing us each day I am feeling more me. I love the fresh breezes. I love hot cider and taking long walks along the river. This summer I also discovered I enjoy watching birds.
The way each one flutters about in its own way. How each kind has its own unique sound. It is quite fascinating to watch. I am also a person of water. I am floored by water. Being around it. Being in it, hearing the waves. Or sitting by a quite river and watching the ripples.
My outdoor nature is partly why I knit and create with organic, natural fibers. As I grew stronger in my skills I started introducing myself to sustainable, renewable resources as useable fibers. Corn fiber is very soft. Milk fiber as well is a marvel to create with.
I am excited to announce that this MONTH September 2013 I am teaming up with a good friend and fabulous photographer to release the new fall pieces. You can follow Tiffany, Ten Photography at https://www.facebook.com/TENPhotography.
Tiffany will be photographing the new alpaca lace pieces, cashmere piece, garland banners, and much more!
My name change is just the beginning of whats to come! blue Birds Shop will be focusing more on it's shop local and quality of fiber verses sales and ready to ship.
The next process will be introducing the 3 P's! Stay tuned to hear all about what the 3 P's stand for:)
