180 Day Challenge

As I sit here at my daughters home I am overwhelmed with peace and calmness. I thought this would be a perfect time to blog about my upcoming challenge.
180 days of NO excess spending. No Starbucks or quick stops. No I don't feel like making supper or even the really not needed girly stuff.
If you know me, you already are laughing because not getting my starbucks will be the toughest challenge.
My reasons are simple enough. See what the savings will be and to challenge myself inwardly. What really are the important things.
This challenge is also a spiritual one. I will be downloading and listening to sermons from different congregations. In part this was a tough decision. I am well can we say extremely conservative!
The things that had to be clear to me: The Lords Supper, Trinity, role of Man and woman.  Once I figured out that I was able to make a mental list of where to find the podcasts.
Lastly, take time each morning for meditation and prayer.
My readers maybe about ready to close this blog! But please stay with me it won't get any more serious than this one. I want to share apart of me and where this challenge takes me! I will be blogging on the journey and how I am doing. It could get kinda crazy:)
On my drive back home it will be a treasure to sip on my last coffee treat of the year!

In preperation I made sure the kids had enough good socks and toiletries. I will be doing one final run to target to stock up on the neccesary items. I also have a good stash of fiber to keep me busy. I may pull out my hair by the end but one thing is for sure I will be enlightened.

Oh bother, as Phoo would say this is going to be like finding a full jar of honey!

Thanks so much for all my readers! Hope to see you back:) day one is January 1st!
